Processes
There is a wide range of technical processes used at Novelearth, all carried out by a skilled, qualified and experienced workforce. Some of these include:
- Automatic Barrel zinc (capacity 10 tonnes/day) with trivalent clear and yellow passivates and hexavalent black passivates. The trivalent passivates are specially formulated for the EU End of Vehicle Life regulations regarding 'hexavalent chromium'. This is a component of some passivates which is now heavily regulated in the automotive industry.
- Barrel zinc (for smaller volumes) with various passivates.
- Rack zinc (for larger items) with various passivates.
- De-rust and oil.
- Barrel copper plating.
- De-greasing.
- Polishing.
- Powder coating various colours (up to 6') but specialising in large volume small items. Capacity up to 12000 components/day.

- Anodising in various colours.
